This Advent season, we will use Matt Rawle's book, "Experiencing Christmas," as our theme. Each week, we will take a different one of our senses and use it to help us prepare for the birth of Christ once again. We will do this in worship, small group studies, and with some fun events. You are invited to join us this Advent Season!
Small Group Studies:
Mondays at 10:00 am in person in the Church Conference Room (starting Dec.1, use office entrance)
Tuesdays at 12:00 pm on Zoom, links are in the calendar tab above (starting Dec. 2)
Tuesdays at 6:30 pm on Zoom, links are in the calendar tab above (starting Dec. 2)
Fun Events:
Sunday, Dec. 14: Crafts and Cookies in the Fellowship Hall at 3:30 pm. Bring your favorite Christmas Cookie to share and join in some holiday crafting. Donations for crafts will go to support the Mission Trip to Honduras.
Sunday, Dec. 21: Community Caroling at 3:00 pm. We will hop on the back of some horse-drawn wagons and go caroling out in the surrounding neighborhood.
Each Sunday, we will worship at 10:00 am in the sanctuary.
On Christmas Eve, we will come together for special music at 6:30 pm and then have our Christmas Eve Carols, Communion, and Candlelight service starting at 7:00 pm.
Sunday, Dec. 28th will be a Lessons and Carols service. We will hear the story of Jesus' birth again and sing all the wonderful Christmas Carols.

Lighthouse Congregations are a part of the UM Collective Movement in the Western NC Conference. These congregations are particularly equipped to welcome anyone whose church has closed or disaffiliated. If you find yourself in these circumstances, we first want you to know that we see you. We love you. And we will help guide you. A Lighthouse Congregation is a United Methodist faith community that will serve as a resting place with people who will care for you while providing a haven of peace and grace. Whether you are an individual or a group of people who have become displaced or churchless because of closing or disaffiliation, Lighthouse Congregations will be there for you during this difficult time.
We would love for you to join us for worship at 10:00 am on Sunday or you can CLICK HERE to join us online, live or at any time.
